In 2001, Broadvox entered the wholesale telephony arena as the first US-based VoIP provider to accept and pass voice packets. Since then we have grown from a regional network into a coast to coast network covering more than 7,000 rate centers in the US and Canada. In 2007 the network carried more than 6 billion minutes of traffic powering nearly 200 carriers, CLECs, ISPs, SIP-based ASPs, MSOs, and next generation carriers. Broadvox has over 90 POPs with major switching centers in Dallas, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Denver, Miami and Seattle. Moreover, many international carriers use Broadvox for terminating traffic throughout North American.
Our high-performance, high-capacity, carrier-grade reliability is delivered through state of the art softswitches and network equipment from Sonus, NextPoint, Cisco and Alcatel-Lucent. Our Network Operations Center provides live technical support for service issues and network surveillance 24/7. Broadvox interconnections include Gigabit Ethernet and MPLS-supported Fast Ethernet, SS7/ISDN xDS3, OC3 and Public Internet Peering.
