04.20.2006 — Broadvox Selects ActiveEdge Unified Messaging Platform
North Billerica, Mass. — Iperia, Inc., the emerging leader in unified communications solutions, today announced that Broadvox has selected its ActivEdge™ solution to enhance the existing and evolving messaging needs of its customers. The combined offering enables service providers to provide subscribers with productivity-enhancing IP services - including web-based voicemail, voicemail to email, fax to email messaging, conferencing and more - with the reliability they need to stay connected in their daily work and personal lives.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Broadvox hosts high-speed Internet Protocol (IP) telephony and enhanced communications services for its network of telecommunications enterprises and service providers - including IXCs, CLECs, UNE-Ps, long distance resellers, and broadband providers. "Bringing IP telephony to the desktop, Broadvox provides more than simple dial tone," said Pete Sandrev, president of Broadvox Resellers. Its offerings include unlimited local and long distance phone services and additional enhanced services such as traditional voicemail, web-based voicemail and unified messaging, as well as hosted PBX and auto attendant services for businesses.

"We chose Iperia's ActivEdge solution because of its tight integration with Sylantro [platform for IP PBX and broadband voice services], which allows us to provide our customers with a unified portal for voice and messaging," said Sandrev. "Additionally, Iperia offers the support we need in this new technology environment for which response time is paramount. Iperia recognizes that urgency and delivers high availability and speedy response to technical questions." Looking forward, the ActivEdge solution arms Broadvox with a more robust server for conferencing and fax messaging capabilities, as these requirements arise.

Iperia's carrier-class ActivEdge software empowers network service providers with a scalable and high-performance solution for a full range of enhanced services such as telephone and web-based voicemail, fax messaging, conferencing, auto attendant, and unified messaging capabilities. Its applications are packaged as industry standard, off-the-shelf hardware components; while Iperia's installation, training, and support services provide for a turn-key solution. The result is lower implementation risks and dramatically faster time-to-market with unified communications services.

"Iperia is pleased to partner with Broadvox in its aggressive growth strategy to sustain high-speed Internet, local and long distance voice services, and other value added services," said David Jodoin, CEO of Iperia. "Iperia will work closely with Broadvox to ensure that their service runs smoothly, continuing to support their business with emerging applications as they expand their offering."
